From the President... Hello to all. I'm trying to concentrate enough on this to write something that makes sense, but I'm also in vacation mode so it may not. I hear we have a few new members who have joined the ranks here lately. Welcome to you all. I know Dennis C. has been busy recruiting, I signed a new member, and I think Ann H. has also been busy signing new members. Thanks to all who have been recruiting members to join our chapter, and hello to all those who have recently said yes to the invitation to join. Our big projects are upon us this month. Thanks to all who helped with the Garden Tractor Pull and the Tractor Pull. All the help was greatly appreciated. Hopefully the schedule for set up for the Demo Derby and the ATV Mud-a-Thon will be included in the calendar and several of you will be able to help out. There is a lot of preparation work that goes into these projects, but the entertainment we are able to provide to the area citizens, and the donations we are able to make back into the community are well worth the efforts put into the projects. Now is also the time to start thinking about taking on an office for next year. I know it seems like a long time away, but the end of the year is only five months away and that time will fly by exceptionally fast. I took a leap of faith last year when I took President, I'm glad I did it too. If you have any questions about being an officer or director just ask any of the board members. We tried co-Vice Presidents this year for two of the areas and I think that has worked out pretty good. If you think you would like to try that with someone talk about it with them and decide. We will be starting to work on finding officers for next year real soon. Please think seriously about it. There is a lot to learn from leading a group of your peers. Soon you'll find yourself willing to step up into leadership positions in other places. Well, I'll close this out so I don't bore you all to death. I hope to see you all at the August meeting.
