Hi! 2003 is going to be a great year! I am looking forward to seeing some old faces at membership projects, as well as some new ones.
January will include the Passing-of-the-Gavel/Appreciation Dinner, as well as the DSA Banquet. Both are a fun way to get involved! In February, plans are being made for Family Bowling Night. Don't worry... you don't have to have kids to join in, but if you feel you must, you can always borrow or rent some! Perhaps we will even find an "expert" to give some tips to those of us who are somewhat bowling "challenged!" The date will be announced at the January meeting, as I am waiting to set a date until we know if plans are to go ahead with a Comedy Club that month. March will include a Soup Supper and Card Party at a location TBA. Volunteers for soup making? Let me know.
Tentative plans for the new year include a Soup Supper/Card Party, Silly Supper, Friday Afternoon Club, a Big Lake Blow Out, Family Picnic/Skating Party at Sycamore Springs, a Scavenger Hunt, Movie Night during Jaycee Family Week, and a P.O.E.T.S. Meeting (it's not what you might think). If you have other ideas, please let me know! We are always ready to try something new!
